Saharkhiz Saffron Rock Candy Sticks are crystals of nabat, Persian rock sugar, grown on wooden sticks and infused with saffron. Stir one into a glass of hot tea and it slowly dissolves, sweetening the tea while adding a golden colour and a delicate saffron aroma. Saharkhiz is an Iranian saffron house, and the sticks come neatly boxed, 20 to a pack.
Pakistanis know rock sugar as misri, and saffron nabat is its elegant Irani cousin.
