Ladan Banaspati Ghee is a semi-solid vegetable ghee (roghan-e nimeh-jamed) from Ladan, the Iranian edible oil brand of Behshahr Industrial Company. It is soft and spoonable at room temperature and melts quickly in the pan, giving dishes the rich, glossy finish Pakistani cooks expect from banaspati.
Use it for layered parathas and puris at breakfast, a proper bhuna for mutton or chicken salan, sooji or gajar halwa at home, and biryani that needs extra richness.
